Hey, pal!
My name is Valeria Alvarez, I'm a first generation Colombian-American illustrator, designer, Risograph enthusiast, and educator. I was raised in the Appalachians, but now currently live in Los Angeles, CA. My work explores the natural wonder of the outdoors and intimate human connection, while infusing a little of my own Colombian heritage into all of my illustrations. My personal mantra in life is to educate, empower, and nurture everyone’s inner artist through art and technology.
I love listening to Bossa Nova, going on road trips, crocheting, loitering at my local library, and sleeping with my cat.
